Ext183 Camera
The Ext183 is an extension board for the Tolo Modular Extensible Computation (MEC) system. It's based around a 20.48 megapixel Sony image sensor and a Xilinx Artix-7 FPGA. The Artix drives the image sensor and processes the received data, then communicates the data to the central Zynq-based computation board over the standard ribbon cable interface. Each Ext183 board can generate over 600 MB/s RAW pixel data. For comparison, the average uncompressed 1080p movie is approximately 8 GB; the EXT183 can generate that much data in 13 seconds.
